I am currently working with a market leading, private equity firm based in central London who are looking for a bright and ambitious accountant to join their growing team as an Investment Accountant.

The firm are a real industry powerhouse and have a strong global presence in the market place. They are renowned for their entrepreneurial approach to investing, excellent training and employing the highest calibre of candidates which will give you the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best names in the business..

Day-to-day the role will see you working with the investments at various stages of the investment process - from the valuation of potential investments to looking at the performance accuracy of current investments by helping with the investment reports on a quarterly basis, looking at the fund performance and tracking new deals. The role will see you working with a variety of stakeholders and give you excellent exposure across the business.

The ideal candidate will be recently ACA qualified (or equivalent) with an excellent academic record and an understanding of the Investment Management industry. They are looking for someone who is looking to utilise their accounting/audit background in this forward looking role. A good understanding of tax structures within Private Equity would also be desirable but is not essential.
