Project Manager - around £60k

A global company in the leisure space is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a permanent position based in Central London.

The main remit of this role will be support their global IT change programme and assist in delivering infrastructure and datacentre projects.

A good understanding of technical infrastructure to be able to advise and manage the teams (internal and external) is necessary in the delivery of key infrastructure projects - such as the implementation of a global WAN and data centre migration.

The environment is very fast paced and demanding, therefore, time management and the ability to work under pressure is key.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, manage deliverables and implement key infrastructure transformation projects
• Define and document project requirements
• Manage and communicate risks and issues within the project
• Communicate project updates to technical and business stakeholders
• Engage with and manage third parties to ensure key deliverables are achieved
• Source internal resources to ensure project delivery teams are appropriately staffed

Skills:

• Experience of delivering IT Infrastructure change projects and programmes within in a small to medium enterprise environment
• Experience of delivering WAN and Data Centre projects
• Strong leadership and sense of accountability
• Client and stakeholder management at senior level
• Experience of project managing internal and external-facing projects
• Experience of troubleshooting, identifying and recovering failing projects and adopting corrective actions
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Evidence of collaboratively working with workstream owners to complete critical actions.
