A globally renowned electronic markets and post trade business firm is seeking a graduate with 1-2 years of experience to join their London finance operations team as a junior accountant.

The firm gives customers better ways to execute trades and manage risk. Through using the firm's platform, customers are able to optimise their portfolios whilst keeping their costs down. The role encompasses the undertaking of various vital processes under the mentoring of a senior accountant.

Responsibilities include assisting with:

• Producing FX variance reporting
• Data gathering and production of KPI's in order to evaluate departmental effectiveness
• Producing reporting packs for FP&A and BP's
• Addressing issue at weekly status meetings
• Proving support to the extended financial operations team where required

Candidate Requirements:

• Currently working towards attaining an accountancy qualification (study support offered)
• MS Office skills, particularly advanced in Excel
• Previous experience in accounts payable & accounts receivables
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• Comfortable communicator with strong relationship management
• Ideally experienced in the use of Oracle
