M&A Project Manager - Dublin

With some good news hopefully on the horizon in terms of a decrease in Interest rates and Inflation getting closer to the 2% target mark the appetite for expertise around the Pre and Post M&A process is beginning to heat up.

Value Add in these circumstances comes in a number of different guises including Pre-Private Equity Diligence, Post Merger & Acquisition Integration, Target Operating model redesign and delivery including Carve Outs and Divestitures, the career benefits of a role in this market in particular are wide ranging and incredibly beneficial over the medium term not to mention an extremely market to work in.

The upside for M&A Specialists with a background in Project Management or Vice Versa is exceptional and our client is fully focused on continuing to build out this platform given an extremely healthy pipeline over the next 3 years.

The Role:

  • Provide dedicated support to different types of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g. operational and IT due diligence, carve-out planning), and post-deal (e.g. integration planning, synergy tracking).
  • Lead blended project teams comprising colleagues from our transactions and advisory practices as well as leading meetings with client stakeholders to advise, shape and drive the planning for integration, carve-out / separation and operational restructuring.
  • Advise senior clients across all sectors, supporting key decision makers in developing, shaping and executing strategies for transactions.
  • Contribute to the management of complex engagements, including commercials, resourcing and risk.
  • Create and Define key strategies for global clients and act as a "Go To" advisor specifically post M&A transactions.


The ideal candidate will have gained at least 5 years experiecne across M&A and or Project Management/Delivery around M&A and be familiar with Due Diligence, Target Operating Models, and Integration.
