We are delighted to be once more working with this rapidly growing global telecoms and financial services Group, who are looking for a talented management accountant. You will be responsible for management accounting and business partnering activities for an insurance entity, based in Ireland.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, Your responsibilities day to day will be…

* Production of a quality monthly financial reporting pack, including full P&L and detailed balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with the Group timetable for review by the Financial Controller prior to group reporting submission.
* Ownership of the monthly intercompany reconciliation process, with all Group entities for trade, non-trade and cash transactions, including loans and currency revaluations
* Assisting in Internal/external audit, liaising with our Group team to ensure adequate, timely information is supplied, ensuring a quality year end audit pack is delivered to the auditors at the end of the financial year, with minimal year-end adjustments.
* Assist the Financial Controller in compliance and regulatory returns, working closely with our Client Accounting team, Tax and Group compliance function
* Ensure rigid controls around bank and cash with daily reconciliations, strict control of the client money account and CBI requirements around process and timing. Ensuring 'Group Standard' of controls are implemented surrounding the management of Client Funds
* Challenge the existing methodology and controls, map out the current process and recommend improvements and work closely with the Financial Controller to implement appropriate policies and procedures.
* You will be a champion of finance processes and systems providing proactive assistance, support and guidance to the team, to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.
* Support the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects.
