Management Accountant

A leading firm based on the outskirts of Manchester is currently expanding its accounting team due to expansion and increasing levels of business. This is the perfect position for anybody wanting to take the next step in their career and not wanting to travel into the city centre; you will also have the opportunity to travel to different client sites in line with business needs.

If you have previous experience in an Accounting role and are able to assist in taking Management Accounts to Trial Balance and beyond, then this position is for you! You will have the opportunity to progress, and will have the chance to work independently and manage a portfolio of up to 20 clients.

The successful candidate will need to have:

• AAT/ACCA Qualification
• Proficient in Xero software and Microsoft packages (especially MS Excel)
• Completion of bank reconciliation
• Exposure to all aspects of the preparation of accounts for submission for Audit including providing commentary and advising business owners

Preferably the candidate will also have:

• Valid driving licence with own vehicle
• Self- Motivated
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience in liaising with external clients

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 + additional benefits

Hours: 35 hours per week
