Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with one of the biggest brands in the UK to assist in their recruitment for a Management Accountant based in Greater Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Finalist/Qualified Management Accountant to work in a varied and busy environment, working for this instantly recognisable business offering huge scope for career advancement.
Within this role you will look after a UK and Republic of Ireland portfolio and be responsible for producing management accounts for those localities. More specifically you will look after the following:
- Preparing monthly management accounts for variable costs
- Complete detailed variance analysis, with supporting commentary and evidence for any adverse/favourable variances to budget and last year
- Assist with producing monthly, half-year and year-end Group reporting packs
- Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities and communicating these to the divisional Finance Manager
- Assist with the production of monthly P&L reports, liaising with Operations and highlighting variances to budget
- Responsible for analysing key cost areas and provide challenge to the operational teams
Experience/Knowledge:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Finalist/ Qualified;
- Previous experience of a similar role;
- Ability to investigate and explain variances across multiple accounts.
