A specialist Financial Services company in Medway, Kent looking to recruit an experienced MI Analyst into a leadership role to build a team responsible for the MI reporting and development of models/packs to assist the company with increasing the integrity of their data.

As a key function within the firm the Regulatory & Finance MI team is tasked with providing a range of services to these teams to enable the business to meet its regulatory requirements. The role holder will lead, manage and develop a team of developers and analysts based in the UK and India.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the overall finance and regulatory MI reporting and processes including the request, prioritisation and escalation of requests across the scope of the finance and regulatory MI Team mandate, managing stakeholder expectations as necessary

- Manage the building of accurate and robust reporting solutions to the finance and regulatory reporting teams, following best practice methodologies of design, build, test and deployment, establishing a comprehensive suite of MI to support the finance and regulatory reporting teams

- Line manage and coach all direct reports, including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration and recruitment

Your Requirements

- Managerial experience - leading a team

- Extensive experience with SQL and Business Objects

- Good communication skills - to interact with senior stakeholders as well as the wider business units
