An exciting opportunity has become available within an esteemed Private Bank based in London, for an experienced migrations Project Manager to join an established team working on a vital customer centric international migration progamme.
Business focused migration experience is essential for this role, along with Private banking / Wealth ideal
The Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Managing a large project through the entire lifecycle, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality. Includes responsibility for ensuring that the solution is capable of enabling the business to achieve benefits realisation
- Act as a Project Management expert, providing specialist knowledge and support to project teams to shape business development and resolve business issues
- Ensure business cases, requests for feasibility study funding and change requests are developed in a timely fashion in conjunction with the business, engaging all relevant stakeholders and securing all required approvals in line with Business Case Approval Process (BCAP)
- Ensure effective project definition, clearly defining scope and deliverables that meets sponsor expectations and is in line with the business strategy and objectives
- Define and implement an effective project structure (governance committees, work streams etc) that ensures a cohesive integrated project delivery
- Develop and track integrated baseline project plans, with clear milestones and KPI's, ensuring changes to plan are tracked and approved
- Manage the impact of project deliverables on the client and ensure these fully support the client proposition
- Timely and accurate status reporting, in accordance with standards
- Ensure there are no brand/ reputational risks as a result of activities responsible for. Escalate identified risks in accordance with internal governance processes and controls, creating a culture that continually probes, debates and identifies solutions/ mitigating actions for issues and risks
- Focus on benefits delivery against approved business case. Immediately surfacing and reviewing benefits issues and risks as they arise and putting in place mitigating actions for benefit delivery shortfalls.
Key Attributes of successful candidate:
- Banking experience - Private banking and Wealth
- Migration - ideally customer migrations
- Relevant Qualifications i.e PRINCE2 or APMP
- Process development/ operational process
- Regulatory/ Legal understanding - advantageous
