This multisite leisure business requires a Financial Director to take overall responsibility for the company's finance function. Your role will be vital as the company has ambitious plans for expansion, both in the UK and internationally. You will be part of the senior leadership team, and will be called upon to make considerable commercial decisions. Experience in a similar role would be an asset, but ambitious candidates with industry experience should see this as an opportunity for advancement.

As the company grows you will be called upon to provide accurate budgets and forecasting, and your team's work will be the basis for the opening of new establishments. Consequently, applicants should be prepared and able to demonstrate a record of success in the rapid international rollout of new sites, including the prior acquisitions of land and property. Revising all systems, processes, and controls is a priority, and doing so will allow for far more accurate strategic decision making. The successful candidate will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA).

Your contributions and insight as financial number one will be highly valued and relied upon, and you will be expected to represent this perspective at the board level. Therefore, a record of growth and time spent in a multi-site business would be a significant advantage.
