This is a rare opportunity for a bright and ambitious newly qualified ACA to join a leading venture capital firm in a broad and commercial fund finance position. The business is looking for an ACA with fund audit experience (private equity, venture capital or wider alternatives). The role does not involve any hands on reporting, instead just oversight of the fund administrators work, valuations and portfolio monitoring duties.
Based in central London, the firm invests in some of the most disruptive technology companies in Europe. The role itself can be broken into 3 parts: Firstly, oversight of the fund adminstrators work; reducing financial reporting to a minimum. Secondly, valuations; work alongside the investment team and senior management to produce and provide valuations. Thirdly, portfolio monitoring; you will be working closely with the portfolio businesses as well as the relevent investment partner to monitor the performance of investments as well as provide better analysis of their financial state. This position is ideal for any candidate wishing to leverage off their ACA whilst also gaining more commercial exposures within a fund.
The culture at this firm is incredibly important to them, they very much have a family feel and this is also expressed through their excellent bonus and benefits package. Further to this, they value work-life balance and are ahead of the curve when it comes to flexible working.
We as a business have worked with this client for a number of years and have an excellent track record placing newly qualified ACAs from fund audit teams. For more information on the position please apply.
