A most renowned, entrepreneurial and award winning Real Estate Investment Managers are looking for a Part time Fund Accountant to join their Finance team.
This business is backed by some of the largest pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and high profile ultra high net worth investors. Throughout the years they have continued to outperform the market and this year is proving no different, with several high profile deals underway.

This role would sit within the existing fund accountant department and would be providing direct support to the Loan Asset Management team. The Loan Asset Management team not only looks after the ongoing management of the loan portfolio they also play a part in structuring and executing the debt transactions.

Due to their growing work load there is now the opportunity to take on a part time accountant for 3 days a week to assist with loan monitoring, the oversight of a portfolio of loans and to contribute to project work.

Responsibilities:

• Calculating interest due from borrowers
• Preparing monthly/quarterly interest statements as well as confirming receipt of interest payments and arranging onward payments to investors.
• Monitoring the receipt of reporting deliverables from the borrowers.
• Performing testing to ensure borrowers are compliant with financial covenants.
• Liaising with the Portfolio Management team.
• Responsible for the debt investments tracker tool.
• Preparing quarterly reports for the divisions oversight committee.
• Working on projects undertaken by the Finance team.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Previous exposure to debt investments or a background in credit
• Ideally more than 3 years post qualified experience within Investment Management

Rate: £300/£350pd LTD depending on experience
