A hugely successful and market leading business in Stretford is recruiting a Payroll and Finance Assistant. You will be working in a fast-paced team in a role that offers exposure to both Payroll and Finance. This is a forward thinking and progressive business offering you a real career opportunity.
Payroll and Finance Assistant duties:
- Processing including new starters, leavers, adjustments and monthly variance checking
- Processing of staff overtime and any ad hoc payments
- Preparation of the monthly payroll BACS submission
- Reconciliation of payroll control accounts
- Daily cash posting
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Regularly review and clear down unposted bank transactions, balances on the Sales Ledger
- Maintenance of customer Direct Debits and any resulting queries
- Quarter end reconciliations and analysis of cash Balance Sheet accounts
- Provide information and assistance to Auditors during the annual audit process, including internal audits
Payroll and Finance Assistant requirements:
- Basic Payroll experience
- Desire to develop skills in Payroll and Finance
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- A confident personality
