I Am delighted to present an exciting opportunity to become part of the Payroll/HR Team within the fastest growing and one of the largest businesses within their sector!

You will manage the payroll function from start to finish for 400 weekly paid employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collating information submitted by employees to calculate basic hours, overtime, travelling allowances and other expense payments.
  • Calculating holiday pay, sick pay and other statutory payments.
  • Preparation of weekly job costing reports.
  • Processing holiday requests.
  • Answering payroll queries.
  • Calculating annual pay rises for input into Intellect Accounts system.
  • Maintaining accurate records of holiday and sickness absence.
  • Reviewing tracker reports for private use of vans.
  • Processing starters and leavers.
  • Management of the Welplan pension scheme.

Experience/Skills required:

  • Extensive experience of Excel.
  • Previous payroll experience.
  • Ability to work to high standards of accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good numeracy, administrative and organisational skills.
  • Clear and logical thinking.
  • Respect for confidentiality.
  • Ability to work to deadline.
