Marks Sattin are delighted to be recruiting for a Payroll Consultant for a retail business based in the North West. As a Payroll Consultant, you will be responsible for liaising with third-party vendors and conducting due diligence to select the best vendor partners. Your expertise will help streamline the payroll operations and improve overall employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with third-party vendors to manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of payroll services.
- Conduct thorough due diligence to select and evaluate payroll vendors, ensuring they meet our company's standards for quality, reliability, and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Develop and implement payroll procedures and policies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to internal staff on payroll processes and systems.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Consultant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in vendor management and due diligence processes
