You will be joining a team of experienced data specialists, each with their own niche of expertise and therefore you will have a significant opportunity to influence the direction of a significant strategic initiative and bring new ideas into fruition. Our wider national team based on London and Manchester are also growing and you will have the opportunity to work with experienced data specialists in an environment that supports and encourages personal development of soft and technical skills. We work closely with our wider TRA team of technology specialists, as well as other teams within Advisory, Tax and Audit.


Responsibilities

* Enhance the look and feel of current web based applications
* Use initiative and creativity to create visually appealing outputs and results to engage stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively to create prototypes of various data visualisation options to help users understand 'the art of the possible'.
* Collaborating with other team members to turn prototypes into operational solutions.
* Alongside other data team members, facilitate workshops to obtain ideas and requirements from the user community, and document and understand any customisations required.
* Respond to improvement recommendations following a defined change management process.
* Working with other specialists, assist in the preparation of project documents.
* Development of test plans and help with the resolution of issues arising out of testing.
* Identify and apply relevant quality and control checks across solutions.
* To work with others and contribute to the enhancement and standardisation of existing PowerBI analysers
* Help clearly communicate our solutions to internal and external stakeholders both verbally and in written reports.
* Well organised and able to document work performed that would enable a knowledgeable independent reviewer to re-perform our work.


Requirements

* Experience and knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ASP.NET and IIS
* Knowledge/Awareness of data visualisation software (PowerBI preferred)
* Confident communicator and self-motivating.
* Tenacious problem solving ability.
