Location: Hybrid - London
Duration: 3-6 Months (Short to Mid-Term Contract)

About the Role:

A leading hospitality group is seeking a Power BI Transformation Consultant to lead the transition from Excel-based reporting to an advanced Power BI-driven solution. This role will focus on improving data visualisation, automation, and reporting efficiency across finance and operations teams.

You'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable Power BI dashboards, integrating key hospitality systems, and ensuring the business can easily access and interpret critical data. Additionally, you'll play a key role in upskilling internal teams, providing training to ensure long-term adoption of the new reporting structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transformation from manual Excel-based reporting to an automated Power BI solution.
  • Develop interactive dashboards that provide clear, real-time insights into sales, costs, and operational performance.
  • Integrate Oracle, Fourth, and Collins data sources into Power BI for a seamless reporting structure.
  • Work closely with finance and operations teams to align reporting with business needs.
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly for both finance professionals and non-financial stakeholders (e.g., general managers, operations teams).
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to the internal team, enabling long-term self-sufficiency in Power BI.
  • Advise on best practices for data structure, automation, and reporting efficiency.
  • Offer guidance on cost, feasibility, and implementation to support decision-making.

    Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Power BI implementation and data transformation projects.
  • Strong data visualisation and dashboard design skills.
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, or multi-site businesses (desirable).
  • Expertise in integrating Oracle-based systems with Power BI.
  • Ability to automate reporting processes, reducing reliance on manual data manipulation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for non-technical users.
  • Experience training teams and transferring knowledge to internal staff.

    Contract Details:
  • Day Rate: £500-650 per day (Outside IR35).
  • Location: Hybrid - London HQ (Liverpool Street) with remote flexibility.
  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Duration: 3-6 months (short to mid-term project).

If you're an experienced Power BI Consultant with a strong transformation mindset, apply today or get in touch for more details.
