A leading wealth management organisation based in the heart of central London is currently looking for a Bilingual Russian/ Turkish speaking Part Qualified Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic and fast paced office. Due to recent expansion they are looking to increase their head count two fold.

  • Reporting to the companies Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following duties;
  • Processing of payments and expenses (input into online banking system) including BACS and CHAPS
  • Monitoring of bank account and cash book reconciliations as required
  • Issue of Director fee invoices and credit control as necessary
  • Bookkeeping on excel for a variety of entities (Manager and 4 funds)
  • Accounts payable and receivables function
  • Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and quarterly fund reports
  • Preparation of quarterly regulatory returns and vat return
  • Assisting with compliance monitoring
  • Ad-hoc Admin duties (meet and greet clients, arrange meetings and update partner diaries, travel bookings, stationery, postage and filing)

Please bear mind that the above duties above are a non-exhaustive list and you may be required from time-to-time to undertake, additional tasks that are consistent with your role but are not listed here.

Due to the nature of the role and industry the ideal candidate must have at least 18 months of relevant accounts experience within the financial services sector. What's more previous accounts preparation experience up to trial balance will be beneficial. The successful candidate will be studying towards or looking to study towards an ACCA or CIMA Qualification and must have at least another 2 years remaining until/ qualification, with Russian or Turkish as another language.

Candidates will have excellent attention to detail, great communication skills (both written and verbal) and will also be proactive by nature with the ability to take charge. The successful candidate will receive a very competitive basic paying up to £30k, plus benefits and full study support.
