My client, a Private Equity firm based in Central London, are looking for a fund accountant to assist the team for the next 6 months.

This role requires someone who has previous fund accounting experience because they need someone to hit the ground running.

• Responsibility for the accounting and reporting for a number of private equity funds
• Maintaining the cash books and performing monthly bank reconciliations
• Posting to the general ledger and investment database system
• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Preparing interim and annual investor reports
• Preparing statutory accounts for the sub-funds and liaising with auditors
• Preparing investor statements including drawdown, distribution and NAV positions
• Preparing investor drawdown requests and distributions payments
• Other Adhoc duties

Requirements:

• A qualified accountant,(ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Ideally 3 years fund accounting experience within Private Equity.
• Experience of bookkeeping and accounts preparation
• Strong Excel skills

Length: 6 months

rate: £300- £400pd LTD depending on experience
