A boutique private equity and real estate investor is looking for a recently qualified (0-2 years PQE) ACA or equivalent with funds experience, to join their growing Fund Accounting team.
Based in Mayfair, the firm is a global operator but the London office has a family feel - there is a fantastic culture with a huge emphasis on work life balance, 9.00am-5.30pm. Added to this, your hiring manager is a supportive mentor who will guide you through any asset classes you have not dealt with before; within the role there are elements of fund accounting on the fund of funds, real estate and direct PE platforms.
The role itself is a broad accounting position and is best suited to either; an ACA with fund experience from practice or post qualified within a fund manager or, an ACCA/CIMA from industry who has spent time at an administrator, hedge fund, private equity or real estate firm. Your role will be to monitor all investments from a finance perspective, from transaction and beyond. This will involve monthly activity and valuation reports, budgeting and forecasting for the funds, monitoring the NAV and presenting and providing commentary to the various investment teams.
It is a broad role best suited to a candidate who wants to work with good people who value culture incredibly high. The role is as technical as you want to make it and, the size of the wider group means that there are a number of avenues for progression.
In terms of remuneration, it's incredibly competitive and the bonus is above market rate for the private equity industry.
