INTERIM PURCHASING MANAGER/PROCUREMENT ANALYST

A proven purchasing/procurement analyst is required for an International engineering firm who are constantly winning new Joint Venture businesses and are leading from the front in relation to changing the face of UK infrastructure.

Working directly with the Head of Procurement and the Head of Finance, you will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of pricing/procurement analytics, and will be keen to put your own mark on the role and have direct invovement in making considerable in-roads to reducing current spend. You'll have exposure to all of the below:

• Analysing current supplier pricing and contracts
• Working key stakeholders in relation to pricing decisions
• Making recommendations for negotiation and identifying cost saving opportunities
• Working with Excel as well as in-house systems and IT softwared to produce Management Information for use at commercial meetings
• Working as part of a close-knit team on continous improvement and streamlining reports so they are fit for purpose
