An international software solutions consultancy is looking for a Project Manager with proven experience of delivering Enterprise Content Management / Information Governance solutions ideally within the legal, professional services or financial services sectors.
Joining the organisation's growing team in its City based office, the Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of projects and expert services to clients across the whole range of its product suite.
The successful candidate will be experienced and comfortable in project delivery, working collaboratively with the company's consulting service staff and customers and be adept at developing client relationships. Whilst this position is based in London, the will be some international travel involved
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide project leadership for consulting engagements in planning, analysis, installation and testing of company solutions to ensure they meet client expectations
- Assemble and coordinate project staff. Manage project resource allocation
- Create client deliverables such as presentations, detailed design documentation, build and deployment guides, and task lists
- Develop a close working relationship with R&D, Sales and Support teams and foster collaboration and teamwork
- Assign tasks to project team members and review the team's work products to ensure that they are accurate and consistent. Supervise junior team members as appropriate
- Provide feedback on product usage and features requested at customer sites to internal R&D teams to influence future roadmap direction
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technology or related field with considerable years of hands on experience in an IT environment
- Experience in delivery of Enterprise Content Management / Information Governance solutions ideally within legal, professional services or financial services industries.
- Proven track record of working for large organizations and ideally managing budgets of around £4.5m
- Strong client-facing skills, including workshop planning, delivery and documentation
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Project, Excel and Word.
- Team Player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently at customer locations with minimal supervision
- Displays well-developed problem solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to think creatively in a fast paced environment
