A well established property investment company are currently looking to recruit for a Property Accountant. With a company headcount of 12 in the UK, they are a medium sized company with a turnover of in excess of 4 million pounds.
Reporting in to the UK CFO, responsibilities will include:
Role includes:
- Bookkeeping, sales/purchase ledger, credit control, service charge, accounting, financial control, treasury, risk management, project analysis and detailed reporting to support the operational decision processes.
- Regular liaison with external professional advisers, banks, etc.
Knowledge of and experience of year-end routines and preparation of year-end accounts file for presentation to auditors. - Liaising with Property Department to obtain details of new leases to be entered onto database, also termination arrangements, confirmation of expenditure/service charges.
- Preparation of rent demands, service charge demands and other one-off demands.
- Working as a team in the Accounts Department with 3 other colleagues, covering for them in case of absence.
Software:
- Tramps, MS Office and to a lesser extent, TAS Books and Landmaster.
The ideal candidate will have a strong property background and have extensive knowledge of TRAMPS. You will be studying towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification. PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU HAVE USED TRAMPS.
