Are you technically experience AP clerk looking to take a step up in your career? Or maybe you're looking for development and exposure to other areas of the accounts?
I'm working with a rapidly expanding professional services company that are looking to take on a competent Purchase Ledger Clerk to oversee the full end-to-end AP process.
The Business
This company is professional services organisation, founded in Leeds 28 years ago, that offers financial services solutions to commercial and business clients. Since celebrating their 20th anniversary, they have experienced record period of growth.
The Job
You will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger, making sure that invoices are processed in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy, and that suppliers are paid correctly and on time. Furthermore, you will be expected to reconcile the accounts against the supplier/bank statements and resolve any finance queries relating to accounts payable. You will also be relied upon to assist with other ad hoc finance duties.
You
Ideally you need 1-2 years end to end purchase ledger experience working in an accounts payables within a medium/large sized business. Whilst not essential, any experience with cashbook duties would be highly advantageous to your application.
