Start your job searchA dynamic, world leading tourism company based in the Windsor area are looking for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to lead and support all members of their dynamic, fast-paced Finance department. This key role within the Finance function will be essential to ensure the maintenance of excellent supplier relations, efficient payment procedures and motivation of staff whilst dealing with various currencies and time zones.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier payments in a timely and efficient basis, across different divisions within the group, using varying currencies
- Managing payments in line with cash flow forecasts
- Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice/payment queries when escalated
- Full responsibility for key accounts; this includes ensuring company information is up to date, payments are made in line with terms and relationships are maintained
- Supervision and support the small team of AP & Finance assistants
- Reconcile foreign currency balances between bank accounts & management system
- Consider and explore internal & external enquires to develop procedures, ensuring maximum productivity of the Purchase Ledger function
- Analyse management reports to identify discrepancies and take action to rectify
- Administer company-wide expense management system
- Other: Assist other aspects of finance where required, Ad-hoc projects, support throughout outer Finance Team to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent attention to details coupled with organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast paced environment
- Strong personality, able to lead and develop people through coaching
- Decisive, problem solver; can cope with supplier queries
- Experience in the Purchase Ledger function
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with foreign currencies is desirable but not essential
