Marks Sattin are working with an excellent expanding Independent Practice in Leeds city centre who are looking to recruit a qualified accountant to join their team.

Ideally they require an ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant looking to progress career with a well-established and highly regarded firm.

The role involves responsibility for your own portfolio of clients . As a key member of the team the successful applicant will be involved in the running of the practice and have the opportunity to play a key role in the firm's ambitious growth plans.

To be considered for this position, in addition to being recently ACA or ACCA qualified, you must have experience in servicing owner-managed clients and be proficient in the following:

- Statutory accounts preparation
- Compliance taxation, both company and personal
- Sage Line 50
- VAT return preparation

You must have an organised, proactive approach coupled with an excellent attention to detail and technical knowledge. Good customer focus and strong communication skills are also key.

Whilst not essential, experience in any of the following would be desirable: payroll, auto-enrolment, company secretarial work, Xero, Quickbooks.

Working hours: 09:00 - 17.30

Candidates seeking part-time employment will be considered, with a pro-rata salary.
