We are working with a world-leading publishing company who are searching for a Royalties Accountant to join their growing team.

You will be responsible for overseeing and completing all accounting processes relating to generating reports and calculations for contributions. You will support on all accounting for the stock and costings.

  • Ensure the royalties system is up to date; New contracts added, contract rules set up, all relevant sales reported, and payments reconciled.
  • Run and send out royalty reporting to stakeholders and key contributors.
  • Review and process Royalty / Advance invoices
  • Provide profit share statements and various profit analysis on a monthly/annual/ad-hoc basis.
  • Complete all administration of contract database and tracking agreements and payments.
  • Ensure all relevant Licensor sales are reported correctly within the specific royalty clause.
  • Prepare month-end stock reconciliation for all distributor accounts.
  • Prepare reports for Goods in Transit and 'Stock Held Elsewhere'
  • Additional ad-hoc duties

The ideal candidate will have a background working within Accounting and Finance, and preferably be studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA). Ideally you will have experience working in a creative/ media sector with working knowledge of royalties. Good communication and time management skills is key, and previous use of Stison or Sage 200 would be desirable.
