Position: Sales Ledger Clerk

Salary: £21,000 plus bonus scheme and company benefit package

Location: Manchester - Sale

Hours: 37.5 hour per week

The Company

A well-established growing Business with a national presence, are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join their Finance Department. This company has a long and impressive history, as well as, a reputation for strong staff retention. Working in a modern open plan office this well rounded position will provide a good level of autonomy.

Duties:

• Raising and issuing sales Invoices
• Monitor payments received and balances due
• Allocating all monies received to customer accounts
• Account and statement reconciliations
• Setting up new customers on the system and ensuring they are all managed correctly
• Management of client debt balances and chasing outstanding accounts
• Resolving queries on accounts and updating records
• Issuing monthly statements to business customer
• Liaise with internal and external bodies to resolve queries
• Bank reconciliations
• Production of management information (aged debtors reporting)
• Maintain sales ledger records in and off system

Requirements:

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Experience working within Sales Ledger/Credit Controller
• Able to prioritise work
• Strong Microsoft Skills.
