Start your job searchThis multi billion pound FMCG business are inviting applicants for a newly created role as a SAP Master Data Manager. This high level and crucial role reports directly to the CIO and is a crucial hire for the business.
This business is looking for someone who has relevent SAP Master Data/project experience of working with the businesses/functions in their transition from legacy systems to SAP. Your main responsibilities are to flush out their master data requirements in order to help them map master data from legacy systems (e.g. Oracle Financials, Sun, Coda) to SAP financial data structures); to determine what new master data they would require in terms of accounts, profit centres, cost centres, trading partners, transactions, types, MI mappings etc; to plan the mapping and master data activities and ensure the FDS plan aligns and is integrated with the overall project plan. This entails working with other project team members (e.g. Data conversion team, testing team, technical team)
The successful person must be a self starter and have the ability to work on their own and within teams along side the Business Controllers & Senior Finance personnel. It’s key that they have the ability to build up relationships with the business and gain credibility and respect in order to fully engage the business users in the master data activities.
Detailed knowledge of SAP is of course essential. You will have communication skills both written and verbal are essential as is the ability to travel if needed.
