Senior Accountant - Commodities - Immediate Start - Hybrid Working - Ventral London - 12 Month FTC

Role & Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the monthly management accounts
• Group reporting tasks and duties
• Stock reconciliation
• Manage period end reporting process in SAP for Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statement, Cash Flow, Intercompany.
• Post accruals/adjustments/other required journals
• Preparation of VAT returns workings and reconciliation for other Duties and Taxes
• Bank reconciliations ensuring all postings and cash allocations are up to date
• Provide the required input into the monthly and quarterly group consolidation
• Manage external reporting under IFRS and US GAAP

About You:

• Qualified Accountant ACA or equivalent
• Experience in energy trading
• 5+ years experience (preferably in Commodities)
• Qualifications and/or Degree in accounting
• Good knowledge and experience with SAP
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Audit experience is an advantage
