SENIOR ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

SENIOR ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - High growth business based in South Manchester, which has an exceptional customer-focused attitude and prides itself on service delivery, is looking to expand and is recruiting new members in to its Finance team.

You'll be an excellent communicator, will pride yourself on your ability to relationship build, and will be looking to combine these interpersonal skills with your sold background in Accounting and Finance. You'll have done your AAT and may well be studying towards either ACCA or CIMA, and will want to join an organisation which places real importance on developing its staff. On a daily basis, you'll be responsible for the following:

• Providing all accounting, tax and financial administrative services to a variety of customers
• Working to strict deadlines, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service delivery
• Working with Lead Accountants and providing them with necessary Financial information
• Advising clients directly about their financial statements and processes/controls
• Advising on tax matters and providing the best level of customer service
• Working with HMRC guidelines and advising on all aspects of VAT/PAYE and Corporation Tax
• Acting as the 'Account Manager' for customers, guiding them through processes every step of the way
• Advising on areas of statutory accounting
