A growing property services company based in South West London are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable clerk (Senior) to work in a stand alone position where you will be responsible for running the purchase ledger function as well as looking at process improvements.

Duties include:

• Accounts payable across all companies in the Group
• Implementing control processes e.g. invoice registrations to enable tracking of invoices & approvals, weekly aged creditor's report with follow up of unusual items, monthly aged creditor reconciliations and investigating differences, supplier statement reconciliations and investigating differences
• Efficiency improvements around invoice approvals, payments to suppliers
• Implementing QUBE Purchase ledger processes: payments by BACS; Paperless invoice approvals
• Improving processes around rates and utilities payable to monitor payments required by the Group for properties occupied by licence & empty properties
• Contractor payments: time sheets to be checked and payment schedule created
• Sub-contractor and employee expenses
• Credit card reconciliations, postings to Qube & payments
• Improving purchase order process for materials & goods
• Bank reconciliations for the group
• Assisting with weekly cash reports and weekly/monthly cash forecasts
• Petty cash floats & reconciliations
• Ad hoc matters as required by senior management
• Reporting to FC, liaising with property managers and senior management

The successful candidate will have experience working in a standalone Purchase Ledger role and MUST have experience in improving company processes.
