Marks Sattin is working in partnership with a high growth business in East Oxfordshire to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst on a permanent basis. An exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business in a highly commercial role with elements of hands on financial analysis and modelling alongside business partnering with senior leadership.

This role will be paying circa £70k per annum with excellent benefits including bonus scheme, private medical and 25 days annual leave.

Senior Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities Include:

This role would suit somebody coming from a corporate finance or M&A background with well developed modelling and analysis skills as you will play an active part in future business direction alongside new projects and opportunities. Your ability to business partner with SMT will come into play as you will present findings as part of strategic decision making. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Market and competitor analysis to understand key performance metrics and provide detailed commentary to steer the business in a profitable direction
  • Core financial analysis to determine profitability, again providing insight to pivot the business in relevant areas
  • Build and maintain financial models relevant to new business opportunities
  • Business partner up to and including C-Suite, ensuring numbers and position are understood at all levels

The ideal candidate will be:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified
  • Trained through Corporate Finance, Advisory or M&A will be advantageous
  • Strong business partnering/stakeholder management
  • Clear evidence of in-depth financial analysis/modelling capabilities
