Marks Sattin are currently working with a York based Financial Services organisation to recruit a Financial Change Programme / Project Manager.

You will be part of a small team sat within a larger one, working with a wide range of stakeholders, including offshore, reporting teasm & external suppliers. This team aims to be a centre of excellence, created by developing an understanding of the reporting processes to minimise production time & errors, increase frequency and enhance business insight into the results.

The main purpose for this role is to be responsible for managing all change impacting the team and its direct stakeholders. You will be in charge of a team of 3 and will be managing around 40-50 projects across the business.

Duties & Responsibilities;

• Planning, co-ordinating & leading the element of change activity into the team.
• Designing & implmenting new finance processes / solutions.
• Providing expert support and advice to the BAU teams, their customers & stakeholders to influence change outcomes.
• Acting as the primary contact point for new and inflight change impacting the team for both internal and external parties.

Skills & Experience;

• Ideally a qualified accountant, but not critical.
• Proven track record of delivering complex change.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong influencing & negotiating skills.
• Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies and improvements.
• Delivery of cross site / team people & process change.
• Excellent analytical skills and pro-active drive to get behind change.
• Ideally relevant experience of working in a finance environment.
