A leading playing in the Yorkshire market is currently recruiting for a Senior Internal Audit Manager. Working very closely with the business, you will be given a chance to join at one of the most pivotal times in this businesses history.

With one of the bigger audit functions in Yorkshire, you will be driving risk based audits as well as advisory work across multiple trading channels. During your time with the client you will gain excellent transformational experience and be responsible for assisting with the delivering of one of the most crucial pieces of change across the group.

In the role you will be responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of risk-based audits and value-add advisory work.
• Participating in functional Enterprise risk management meetings to identify and assess the current and emerging risk areas and support the development of the overall audit plan.
• Line managing, coaching and developing team members to drive team engagement.
• Great communicator who's resilient, calm, composed and motivated to get the job done, with an ability to stand your own ground when the need arises.
• Business partnering senior stakeholders across the business functions to support their audits and risk management processes.
• Taking responsibility for elements of the Internal audit functional plan, supporting development of and leading change initiatives
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement to the audit process including automation of audit testing, application of data analytics and agile techniques on audits

You will hold a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA) and either working in Internal or External Audit. Entering such an exciting transition period, you will have the personality to adapt your approach across multiple divisions. Please contact me for more information.
