A well established commercial bank are looking for a Treasury Analyst to assist the Treasury and Investment department. The successful individual will be responsible for the performance of all the treasury back office duties, monitoring and maintaining treasury controls and procedures and providing treasury analytical support.

Main responsibilities will involve:

• Assist with the treasury back office duties
• Weekly and monthly executive level reports
• Monitoring and maintaining treasury controls
• Input of all payments presented into the various online banking systems.
• Ensure all payments presented are correctly entered and payments released by the appropriate signatories in a timely fashion.
• Confirmation of all trades and prepare the daily end of day reconciliation back to the main back office system.
• Prepare various daily / weekly / monthly reporting such as the daily cash report, weekly / monthly treasury report, monthly MI report and debt maturity profiles.
• Responsible for the input of all internal and external hedging trades into the back office system.
• Providing treasury analytical support
• To fulfil any additional ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Your background is likely to be:

• Treasury back office experience ideally within the Financial Services industry
• Good relationship building skills
• Studying towards an AMCT, Cert ICM) or the willingness to study
• Strong analytical skills
• Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)

Strong IT skills and a good understanding of the Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel) Successful candidates will receive an excellent benefits package including a base salary between £30-38k with excellent benefit package.
