Start your job searchA UK leading food manufacturer in Malton are looking for a Site operations accountant to join them on a permanent, full-time basis.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys a hand's on, fast paced role, working closing with the finance business partners to provide accurate and timely management information and be involved in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of related reporting cycles.
Key duties:
- Support site finance controller and cluster finance director in weekly and monthly group reporting requirements, incl. preparation of and providing insight into monthly site Continuous Improvement (CI) pack
- Support operations accountant with production and interrogation of departmental management information (daily/weekly reporting of site financial and operational KPIs, departmental yield and labour reports) in support of weekly site management and Group management reviews
- Further development of the management reporting process to align departmental targets with site financial targets/objectives through all tiers of operations. This will include generating daily site KPI reporting tracking for prior day completed and current day start up data to support daily site management meetings (Daily Direction Setting)
- The successful candidate will be required to work cross functionally and support project teams as the key finance lead providing robust analysis and or validate proposals before submission to senior management
- Continuous improvement of finance and operational reporting cycles, including supporting of cost reduction initiatives
- Prepare high quality right first time Application for Financial Expenditure (CAPEX) proposals for Board approval
- Identify and lead analysis and reporting of Research & Development claims for the site
- Design and deliver analysis and reporting of Transport and Coldstore cost analysis
This role is open to Part-qualified, Fully-qualified and qualified by experience candidates with relevant experience.
Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE
