Start your job searchWe are currently recruiting a Commercially focussed Accountant for a market leading FMCG Manufacturing and distribution organisation that has grown substantially over the past few years.
Reporting directly into the Finance Director, this is a key appointment for the business, with the successful candidate will be responsible for a small finance team and will drive day to day commercial performance to realise top an bottom line benefits. Key responsibilities include driving Sales/Margin improvements, improvements in operational efficiency by interpreting production information into operational action plans; product costing, customer profitability models and analysis, to provide financial support & guidance to non-finance stakeholders contributing fully to the continuous improvement in business performance; to enhance management understanding of financial information through provision of information and education, promoting a cost awareness culture. Margin analysis, The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified with recent experience within commercially focused finance role as commercial accountant, finance analyst or finance business partner, ideally with a Manufacturing Finance /Distribution bias. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication, influencing and leadership skills and experience of dealing with a diverse group of people both internal and external is important as well as having a real drive to succeed.
