Software Sales Executive - £60 base plus OTE

An international software vendor is looking to hire a Software Sales Executive to join its growing office in the City.

Working the non-UK market, your main remit will be to maximise sales potential and develop and manage relationships with a named account list of new prospects and existing customers across Europe and Africa.

Extensive travel across EMEA is required to visit customers and prospects in all European countries as well as South Africa.

Responsibilities

  • To maintain level of software sales in line with the company's objectives
  • Develop sales opportunities through relationship building and networking
  • Create, maintain and nurture sales leads, opportunities and existing customers
  • Provide weekly updates on all opportunities and deals within assigned client list, through the appropriate sales tools (SFDC)
  • Understanding of software and services pricing
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the Regional Sales Director
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Skill Required

  • Successful previous experience in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Knowledge of selling enterprise software solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Experience with establishing new business with professional services Firms
  • Knowledge to grow and expand sales into installed accounts
  • Ability to build trusted rapport with CXO level customer contacts
  • Ability to deliver presentations and messages to various sized audiences at all levels (manager to C-level individuals)
  • Ability to do software demonstrations and articulate the benefits to an existing customer or prospective customer
  • Communicating the value proposition: highly skilled at pushing a conversation to a common place where a solution model works for the client
  • Proven negotiation skills and success developing customer relationships
  • Working with partners in multiple countries across Europe.
  • Foreign language skills would be beneficial but clear written and spoken English is more important.
