Solutions Architect - ERP / Workday

A global professional services firm is currently looking to hire a Solution Architect to be based out of its prestigious offices in central London.

The main remit of the role is to work as part of the Solutions and Architecture Team to design and implement a new ERP and CRM Enterprise system to replace Peoplesoft.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing large enterprise systems, with the preferred being Workday.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, governance and design for a programme of work that includes ERP, MDM, CRM and integration layers.
• Design and lead the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements.
• Manage and develop the architecture for a broader scope of projects, working closely with fellow architects that manage and design architecture for a single project or initiative.
• Provide consulting support to application architects within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture.
• Define the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
• Design and direct the governance activities associated with ensuring solutions architecture assurance and compliance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience of designing large Enterprise ERP systems.
• Experience with Workday or large ERP/CRM systems is essential
• Proven track record of working as a Solution Architect delivering successful data migration / greenfield projects.
• Experience with Workday or large ERP/CRM systems as well as application integration would be beneficial but not essential.Proficient in designing, building and deploying infrastructure services at a complex level
• A broad understanding of the latest developments in technologies, industry specific issues, competitor and vendor activity and initiatives
• Experience in infrastructure services design, strategy and architecture related activities
