A rare and unparalleled opportunity to join a leading global accounting firm as their Financial Services Tax lead with a clear and structured plan in place to progress to Partner within a few years. The firm are a pioneering business who have grown dramatically in the last 5 years in the UK. Their Corporate Tax division is also going through a period of change due to new client wins and currently numbers around 40 people. This role is very much the number 1 position in their Financial Services practice and would take charge of a diverse portfolio of clients that mainly consists of asset managers and private equity funds. Your remit will be to initially manage the existing portfolio with longer term targets in place to grow the client base. The expectation is that you'll be able to hit the ground running, prove yourself and therefore move quickly towards Partner promotion.

We're keen to hear from people working for a Big 4 or Top 10 Accounting firm at a similar senior level who have a credible track record in FS Tax, especially across buy side organisations. It goes without saying that you'll need to have proven technical abilities in all aspects of compliance and advisory (in particular structuring) in addition to evidence of having developed and won new business/clients. This role would be an ideal move for a frustrated Associate Director or Director looking for a genuine path to Partner or alternatively someone who is working in industry with a background in professional services who is keen to re-enter the profession.

Salary will be commensurate with experience but is very open with flexibility to tweak accordingly. Please apply online for immediate consideration or for more information or a confidential discussion, please contact Glen Roberts at Marks Sattin on 020 77479765 or email glen.roberts@markssattin.com
