Tax Senior - Liverpool

Salary upto £33,500

We are delighted to be working with one of the UKs largest practices who are still continuing to grow. This company are looking to add a Tax Senior to their growing team. This qualified or QBE candidate will have the opportunity to progress their career within the safety of a very well established firm.

The Role:

The role will involve;

• Supporting regional client facing tax teams with review and QA of personal, corporate and tax returns processed by the tax hub team.
• Employment tax and new projects within the team.
• Team management responsibility, including coaching and feedback. Day to day management including conducting 121's ,team meetings, training and development of team.
• Allocating work to team members using proprietary workflow tool.
• Monitoring productivity output and quality of the teams.
• Provide cover for the Tax Manager during holidays and absences.

Role specific training will be provided.

The right person for the position will;

• be ATT Qualified or equivalent QBE
• have demonstrable experience of Corporate and Personal tax work
• IT skills - strong working knowledge of MS Excel, other MS Office products and similar desktop applications. Knowledge of Alphatax and CCH tax software is advantageous
• be well presented with a professional level of communication - both verbal and written
• have good time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision.
