A leading British professional services firm are currently recruiting for a Technical Due Diligence Consultant to be based in their headquarters in Central London.
The ideal candidate would fit into an established and award-winning technical advisory team of around 50 people throughout the UK, providing transaction advice to a range of clients including infrastructure funds and other institutional investors.
Role Requirements:
- Advising on technical, environmental, commercial and operational issues, primarily in the energy and utilities sector
- Numerical analysis of financial information
- Managing information from a number of diverse sources (target companies, technical experts and the public domain)
- Co-ordinating and producing sections of technical due diligence reports
- Risk review of technical and commercial documentation in support of technical due diligence assignments
- Reponsible for reviewing and providing technical and commercial inputs into business plans such as operating and capital costs, availability and electrical efficiency
- Meeting with clients to present findings on existing projects and on a business-development basis to discuss potential new opportunities.
- Potential for short overseas business travel (mainly Europe)
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and other Office applications
- Ideally a 2.1 degree or higher in engineering, construction or related subject would be beneficial, not essential
- Ability to quickly get up to speed on new areas and subjects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Any European languages would be advantageous
