TM1 System Specialist

Based in Didcot with a brand new office our clients are offering an opportunity to work within a driven and talented team of individuals focusing on developing staff to accomplish career progression is at the forefront of our client's success. Within the fast growing manufacturing industry, the Finance Systems specialist will lead the ERP implementation project in 2020. Any experience in a system upgrade/ implementation would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the tm1 planning system working with business units to identify areas for improved efficiency.
• A understanding of IBM Cognos TM1 system - Writing and maintaining TM1 rules, TI processes, web sheets including MDX statements.
• Strong background in business modelling and reporting
• Assist with maintenance of data upload processes from source systems to TM1.
• Ability to reconcile TM1 to its data sources, ensuring data integrity.
• Maintain reporting hierarchies in finance system and TM1 models based on business requirements.

The ideal candidate will be a previous TM1 system expert with:

• Good understanding of SQL with ability to write/edit SQL queries.
• Logical and well organized approach to process automation for application to TM1 TI process coding and SQL scripting.
• Strong communicator who is confident in challenging concepts and provide clear feedback to senior stakeholders.
• Train, advise and be a TM1 subject specialist for the business.
• Process driven and able to create/update training guides.
• A strong understanding of finance processes/systems and an affinity for understanding finance users.
