Accountancy Development Tutor / Salary £25K to £27K / Manchester / Permanent

A very rare opportunity to join a well established training provider. Your role as a caseload worker, would be to visit students place of work and carry out regular progress reviews. This would suit an AAT qualified accountant, open to progression within teaching and education.

Duties:

• Managing a caseload of circa 60-70 apprentices
• Attending meetings with new and existing clients to discuss apprenticeship requirements and sign new apprentices onto the programme
• Planning and study programmes based on initial assessment of knowledge, skills and behaviours and level of English and Mathematics
• Delivery of apprenticeship induction sessions
• Carrying out regular progress reviews with apprentices and line managers
• Delivery and continuous improvement of Skills and Development workshops
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns to Designated Safeguarding Officer
• Delivery of portfolio preparation sessions and support for End-point Assessment
• Providing additional support for apprentices requiring functional skills, or those who have additional learning requirements
• Regular monitoring of apprentice progress
• Providing support with Ofsted, ESFA, compliance visits as required
• Other ad hoc tasks as required by the Head of Apprenticeships

Experience required:

• Proficient IT skills such as Mircrosoft Office packages
• Maintenance of Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritise own workload
• A valid UK driving licence for travel requirements
