An exciting opportunity has been made available within the finance function of a recognised brand in Lancashire. The business are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to support the Financial Accountant and Finance Director with the demands of a busy department.

The role will be varied and will have involvement within all areas from purchase ledger to management accounts.

The duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Bank reconciliations

- Processing of invoices

- Making payment, cash and ledger runs

- Assistance with accounts prep for month end

- Any ad hoc duties that may arise and dealing with any queries or discrepancies

You will be AAT qualified and hold previous experience working within a similar role.

The client are looking for someone who wants to continue with their studies by way of completing ACCA/CIMA and study support will be included in the package.
