Accounts Assistant

Location: Manchester

Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 per annum

A dynamic, rapidly-growing business based in the Manchester area is looking for an Accounts Assistant to start or continue their career in accountancy. This is an exciting time to join an industry leading team, develop key skills and progress up through hugely successful company.

You will be responsible for, but not restricted to:

• Assisting with the preparation of statutory year end accounts
• Assisting with the management accounts and reconciling accounts
• Account Management
• Dealing with Queries
• Assisting a Lead Accountant with various accountancy tasks
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Other ad hoc duties as required

The successful candidate will:

• Ideally have started studying AAT or ACCA
• Minimum 6 months experience in a finance environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
