Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant/Semi Senior Accountant working in an Accountancy Practice?

An independent accountancy practice based in Wolverhampton is looking for an Accounts Assistant within their Business department. Needing someone to support their clients with preparation of Accounts and VAT returns. They are looking for someone who is able to manage their own desk and be someone who can communicate well with clients.

Main Duties Include:

• Preparation of clients' accounts; clients such as Sole traders, Partnerships and Limited companies
• Preparation of related returns including corporation tax and VAT Returns
• Overseeing Statutory Accounts and Year end accounts
• The occasional client visits.

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience working within an Accountancy Practice
• Knowledge of SAGE and Excel
• Ability to prepare accounts for client review.
• Someone who is confident and can talk to customers.
• A full UK driving license
