My client, a JV of two of the world's leading telecommunications companies, based in the stunning new Thames Tower development are currently searching for an accounts payable clerk to join their team. Previous experience in accounts payable although advantageous isn't necessary in fact people with 1-2 years of credit control or finance admin will be looked up just as favourably as support on the job is something they are happy to provide for the right person. All they want you to be is eager to learn, hardworking and interested in telecoms.

Perfect for a junior looking for an entry level job within a cool, financially robust and exciting organisation. Day to day the role will expect you to:

• Register supplier invoices accurately, completely and timely in the accounting system , following the three way match process and follow up with business owner on any discrepancies
• Raise sales invoices in accordance with the approved invoice requested by the business and perform cash receipt from customers against open customer invoices.
• Perform debt collection enquires in a professional and timely manner and ensure aged debt are timely recovered
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling supplier statements and related transactions .Timely & accurately prepare statement reconciliations for review
• Resolve suppliers' and customers' queries (including the status and content of invoices) and liaison with business Managers if necessary

Ideally you will be:

• 1-2 years' experience in finance admin, accounts payable or credit control
