Start your job searchMarks Sattin are delighted to be exclusively recruiting a Senior Accountant for an established leader who has launched a new accountancy and consultancy practice in the heart of the Wyre Forest, Worcestershire.
This is an integral hire for this organisation as they continue expand their presence in the area by developing relationships and incorporating new business wins on a weekly basis.
There will be a need for a high degree of accuracy in this role as the fee earners will rely heavily upon the information produced. It will be the responsibility of the successful candidate to prepare the necessary documents in a timely manner ahead of client meetings and deadlines for partner review.
Outlined below are a number of standard duties that this job role entails. Please note this is not an exhaustive list and other tasks may apply:
- Produce financial statements with a key understanding of accounting disclosures
- Prepare monthly reconciliations on accounting software for clients for partner review
- Provide accurate and sound management reporting information to assist with key decision making utilising accounting software packages such as Xero and Quickbooks
- Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
- Calculation and submission of VAT Returns
- Ensure compliance with all financial and data protection regulations
- Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
The successful candidate will ideally be ACA/ACCA Qualified with 4+ years of accounts practice experience, but this is not essential - the business will consider a very strong QBE candidate dependent on demonstrable experience.
